Century’s food trailers offer the best body construction
available - proven by over 20 years of in-use experience.
Designed from the ground up for food service operation, Century
body construction utilizes custom structural aluminum extrusions and
thick wall skins that are welded to produce a unibody.
The result is a trailer that offers a visually smooth and very
clean exterior appearance, a lighter towing weight than traditional
trailers, and superior corrosion resistance and durability.
Structural rounded body corners offer reduced wind resistance during
towing, a more elegant appearance, and rugged impact resistance.
Century’s body corners are not flimsy pieces of trim as
frequently found on other trailers.

Standard body width for Century Goldrush trailers is
102”. This is the maximum
road width allowed by DOT with out requiring special permits.
The 102” width allows Century to offer the maximum interior
space for preparation and serving.
Note that the structural corner supports have been kept to a
minimum, keeping visibility at a maximum.

Goldrush trailers equipped with Century’s optional
air-ride retractable suspension, feature an aluminum rubrail around the
lower body perimeter. This
rubrail offers resistance to body scratches and scrapes during towing,
and protects the body from customer inflicted toe scrapes and scratches
when in operation.

Century mounts the tail signal lights and license plate on
the awnings causing them to disappear from view when you are in
operation. This arrangement
not only improves the trailer visually, it removes the lights from a
location vulnerable to damage and raises the lights for improved
visibility during towing. (Century
raised the lights and improved visibility long before a government
study showed that it substantially reduced rear end collisions.)

Century Goldrush awnings are rugged.
Like the body, they are welded aluminum construction for reduced
weight and maximum corrosion resistance.
Over the years owners have reported amazing stories about their
ability to withstand high winds and hail storms while surrounding
trailers and buildings sustained substantial damage.
Also note Century’s clean awning appearance.
We believe in hiding the awning attachment fittings and hardware
for a smooth, finished look.

It is not always possible to sell all products at
all events, so Century builds the awning sign frames to allow easy sign
panel exchange. Simply
remove the screws holding the rear retaining frame and replace the sign
panel.
Awning signs are illuminated by single-pin
high-output fluorescent lights. Not
only are HO bulbs brighter, but they will easily start in cold weather,
they will not vibrate loose during transport, and they have end gaskets
to keep moisture out.
|

Built into the underside of the awnings are additional
high-output fluorescent lights that provide body and serving area
lighting for night time events. The
awning lights are enclosed with lexan covers to keep the lights clean
and keep customers from touching them.
They are integrated into the awnings so that they do not shine in
the eyes of approaching customers, providing maximum trailer
illumination instead.

Like the rest of the Goldrush trailer, Century’s sign
marquees are aluminum construction.
Century marquees are available in a choice of styles and designs,
allowing you to select the style that is most appropriate for your
operation and a design that will set you apart from your competition.

Tall serving windows are designed for maximum visibility
that enhances your display. Experience
shows that the more open and visible you make a trailer, the more sales
you will generate. Food
sales are frequently impulse driven, so the more enticing your
presentation, the more you will sell.
Food is also entertainment.
You hook your customers by allowing them to become involved with
food production and preparation. Century has optimized its design for show, giving your
customers a ring-side seat to your operation.
Century's windows also feature a unique top-hung sliding window
system that eliminates the tedious chore of digging dirt and spilled
drinks out of the bottom window tracks to keep them operating.

Century offers a choice of suspension systems –
standard tandem axle rubber-ride suspension or optional retractable
air-ride suspension.
Illustrated is the optional retractable air-ride
suspension which lowers the trailer body to ground-level for operation.
When lowered, the interior floor of the trailer is only five
inches above ground-level, placing you eye level with your customers,
and affording them an outstanding view of your display and easy access
to your serving counters.
In addition, the air-ride feature offers the
smoothest, most gentle ride regardless of weight.
Isolating the equipment and systems on a cushion of air protects
your investment from the punches, jolts, and vibrations of rough roads -
everything lasts noticeably longer and requires less maintenance.

A standard Goldrush feature is flush mounted, full wheel- well covers. These
aluminum cover panels are light in weight for easy handling, and are easily
removed to completely expose the tires and suspension components for
inspection or servicing. When
installed, they blend smoothly into the trailer body, hiding the tires
from view, for a far cleaner and more professional appearance.

Heavy-duty crank style leveling/support jacks are mounted
on four corners of the trailer to allow precise leveling on sloping
sites, and to provide a solid foundation during operation.
These high capacity jacks have a much higher resistance to side
loads than scissor style jacks, and crank jacks eliminate the need to
carry wooden block of various sizes.
